In our lab environment we find that RDS temp licences keep expiring as we have no RDS server with licenses installed, a workaround that appears to work is to change the server that is designated as the RDS server to another server. This seems to reset the 120 day trial period back to 0.
On Server 2012 you can try and take ownership of the following reg key, and then deleting it
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\RCM\Grace Period
Update
Im not to sure this trick actually worked. It did allow me to connect via ICA connections which it had prevented but will not allow me direct RDP access internally. Please post back your results.
