.net security policy is preventing this application from being executed

I got the following error message when trying to Install Appsense v8 onto a new Windows 2008 R2 Server.


.net security policy is preventing this application from being executed


Google really doesnt show much info for this error at all.

Basically the problem was running the installer from a mapped network drive.
Copying the source software locally and executing worked fine.

The local security policy or a Group Policy must be preventing this but I have not had time as yet to determine which and what to change to enable installs from network drives which is desirable in my environment.
