The sysinternals tool NEWSID.EXE is not supported in windows 2008 servers.
I ran it on my 2008 R2 server and it blue screened the box.
If you Clone Machines and experience some strange SID type issues you will need to run sysprep with the "Generalize" option ticked. This will remove all uniqueness from the server.
You should create your server template at this point to ensure all your virtual machines are created unique.
