Appsense Environment Manager provides the tools to enable SQL replication between multiple disparate SQL Databases. Appsense supports Sequel Merge replication and Multi-node replication. (Publisher/Subscriber model)
This delivers the ability for users to roam and receive the same personalisation settings from multiple appsense environments within your organization.
The replication schedule can be customized by administrators or using the management console and instant replication can be requested to ensure all the databases are upto date.
This design requires that Personalisation, Management and SQL services are available on each required location.
SQL replication ensures the databases are up to date. In the event of conflicts the Publishers server setting would win. Configuration within the appsense console ensures that users are directed to the personalisation server closest to them.
