APP-V Management Console Error 0000C800 or 0000C802

On my new server install of APP-V 4.5 on Windows 2008 R2 I recieved the following error code when trying to connect to the server with the APP-V Management console

0000C800
0000C802

I had to enable TCP/IP and Named Pipes in the SQL install.

This is performed by performing the following
Launch SQL Server Configuration Manager
Click SQL Server Network Configuration (32 bit)
click Protocols for MSSQLSERVER
Select to enable Named Pipers and TCP/IP

Its then required to restart the server.

Note for SQL and APP-V On the same server
If SQL and APP-V Management server are on the same box you will need to set the APP-V Management server service to wait for SQL to start. This ensures that on reboots that SQL has time to start up before APP-V Management service does
This is performed by creating a key under
HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\services\appvirtserver
DependonServer (REG_MULTI_SZ)= MSSQLSERVER
