APP-V Application lockdown with Appsense now Available

Up until now it was not possible to use Appsense Application Manager to lockdown APP-V sequenced applications. The Engine could not interpret the EXEs running on the virtualized drive (eg. Q:\) correctly.

With the release of Appsense Application Manager 8.1.442 This is now possible.

This is a great step forward as virtualized applications become more commonplace and products like Appsense Application Manager allow control over access to these applications.

This will be particularly good news for Microsoft Office deployments where Appsense is recommended to control access to the product. Microsoft Office is a per device licenced product and as such using AD group membership and NTFS permissions is not considered enough.
