APP-V Client Side Cache Size - Registry Key

The following Registry Key controls the App-v client side cache.

This example sets a Cache size of 20GB

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SoftGrid\4.5\Client\AppFS]

"State"=dword:00000000

"FileSize"=dword:00005000

Note : Changing the Cache size causes the Cache to flush and then rebuild at the new size.

I would also recommend an SFTTRAY.EXE /QUIET /LOADALL be performed afterwards to reload all the applications into the client cache if the clients are terminal servers.

The APP-V Client Cahce can also be specified at install time with the switch

SWICACHESIZE="xxxxx"
